Many thanks to all who supported this year's Great American Picklball Drop at the Palm Ridge pickleball courts. The event raised $22,009 which was split equally between the Sun City West Foundation and the Sun City West Community Fund.  Click here to read a press release on this awesome event.

The event was sponsored by the Sun City West Pickleball Club, in partnership with the Recreation Centers of Sun City West, the Sun City West Alliance of Business and Community (ABC), and the Sundome Plaza Merchants.

No Car Seats Available at Helping Hands!

While Helping Hands can provide a lot of equipment for those visiting grandchildren we DO NOT have a car seat loaner program due to liability issues.  The ONLY place that loans out car seats is the local administrative office of the Arizona Fire and Medical Authority at  18818 N. Spanish Garden Drive.

An appointment is needed for a loaner child safety seat. Appointments should be scheduled at least three weeks in advance -preferably as soon as travel arrangements have been made. Keep in mind that holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Winter Break, & Spring Break) are normally very busy so reserve your seat early.

For car seat inspection, installation, and loaner program information/assistance, contact the Fire District at (623) 544-5400.
